Received a call from our sales guy and project manager. The date for closing has been set to June 23, 2006. This is nearly 1 year to the day that we went into contract and 3 months later than what we were expecting. We have a "walk through" scheduled for June 16, 9AM. This means they will have one week to resolve issues between walk though and closing. Not sure if this is doable. Should we hold our breath?
On a high note, they have completed:
- Installing master bath tub
- Sconce lights in stairwell
- Appliances nearly completely installed.
- Fixed some lighting probems
- Blew in insulation in the attic space
- Fixed some (not all) holes in wall
Carpeting is to be installed next Tuesday. They should have started the landscaping but heavy rains precluded them from getting started on that. Maybe today they can.
